Researched the advantages and mistakes, prices, promotion features, and selling propositions of Chicago and US delivery and takeout competitors.
Vision, Mission, Values, DNA:
Developed key differentiation and a positioning strategy. “You choose, we make it happen” – this slogan reflects both the extensive Bubble Maki menu and a “no-judgment” attitude where all the wishes of the client are valuable, no matter how quickly they change.
Customer Portraits, Personality, Tone of Voice:
Identified 5 key customer personas along with their demographics, goals, pain points, and buying behaviors. Based on the research created a unique fun and easy-going brand personality that will be attractive to very different customers.
Possible Channels of Communication:
Chose Instagram and Twitter as the most effective channels of communication. Also, we created a Facebook page to be just present for those researching the brand.
Logo and Brand System:
Fun and cute, yet gender-neutral and stylish – the perfect solution for fast-casual. We created the Bubble Maki logo that represents a bubble, a tapioca ball of bubble tea, and a cutaway sushi roll where the rice envelops the filling all at the same time. The print made of such bubbles is playful and can be used in different compositions.
We also created Cloud Maki, an in-house brand offering vegan sushi options, thus meeting the trend and current audience need for sustainability. This allowed us to distinguish from competitors and attract more customers.
UI/UX Mapping & Design:
Developed a user-friendly website interface with engaging fun texts and signature design of the brand. The website was flowlessly connected to the restaurant management system.
Copywriting:
Created engaging texts for all the website pages as well as Instagram posts in accordance with the chosen tone of voice – informal and very friendly. We used jokes, slang, and even pop culture references to be on the same page with the target audience.
Besides, we developed, launched, and tracked ongoing and one-time email campaigns for additional sales stimulation.
SMM Strategy:
Based on the studied competitor promotion strategies, social platform trends, and target audience triggers, we created a community-focused strategy. We’ve also made monthly content plans with texts and design based on provided photos and videos to ensure brand consistency.
Visual Content for Social Media:
With the help of Canva, we created different design templates with bubble prints for Instagram. This made the brand’s profile bright, recognizable and consistent with its website.
Influencer Marketing:
Achieved increased brand awareness in the local market by collaborating with 20+ Chicago bloggers and influencers.
